FIRST YEAR CORE CLASSES

Three of your FY classes focus on the excitement and quality of your transition to Centenary.

“Nature of Work” will immerse you in the culture of your major and career;

“Wellness” will help you optimize your health, happiness, and success at Centenary;

and “Broad, Enduring Interest” should get you psyched about the expansive, critical thinking we do at Centenary.

First Year Leaders

Your FYL will attend your “Nature of Work” and “Wellness” classes with you and they will also be available

outside of the classroom. A FYL’s main role is to help first year students

transition to life at Centenary. We can’t wait for you to meet your First Year Leaders!
