As we look forward to the second half of 2014 from where
we are at the end of July, we take a moment to review
the Carmel real estate market activity which has clearly
demonstrated a strengthening in both the number of home
sales as well as prices paid. Since the beginning of the year
there have been a total of 123 sales in Carmel ranging in
price from $550,000 to our property on Scenic Road that
sold for $6,800,000 in January. There are currently 84 Carmel
properties actively l isted for sale ranging in price from
$749,500 to a property that is l isted with us on Ocean View
& Scenic at $7,850,000. There are also 33 Carmel properties
in escrow ranging in price from $452,300 to $8,200,000 for
our street-to-street oceanfront l isting that we put in escrow in
the last weeks of July. In the first seven months of 2014, we
at Tim Allen Properties are proud to have closed 24 Carmel
sales for a total sales volume of $59,312,625, and additionally,
we currently have 4 Carmel properties in escrow with a total
market value of just over $18,000,000. Our optimism for the
second half of this year is abundant as we seek to outpace
more than $100,000,000 in Carmel sales volume.

Tim Allen, running on all cylinders…with over 2.1
billion dollars in local real estate sales, the top lo-
cal agent for 20 years running, the #3 agent for
Coldwell Banker in 2013…one might wonder “how

We asked Denny LeVett, one of Tim’s best clients.

Tim views the current luxury real estate market as
