Problems addressed by a web system• FAA’s struggle to manually identify and
track faculty appointments and form preparation. Notifying and reminding contributors is time consuming and onerous.
• Common errors are repeated throughout the School.
• Department and School leadership has limited visibility into the source of delays.
Implementation planDeploy a series of fully functioning systems with incrementally expanding scope over the next three years.
Provide a task management/tracking tool and reminder system for the Faculty Affairs Administrator, fed by central ERP systems.
Extend the tool to identify problems and coordinate activities for the most error prone process. (Referee Grid preparation)
Extend the application to a wider user base (candidates, faculty, referees, chairs/chiefs, School) for a paperless process, to distribute the workload and give stakeholders more control over long form preparation and review.
Develop and integrate a CV management system simplifying the maintenance of faculty CV’s.
