Installing an EcoPure Waters, water filtration system means you no longer need to buy in bottled water. The system provides an endless supply of chilled still and sparkling drinking water, served in elegant reusable, champagne-strength, machine washable bottles.
The bottles can be printed to carry any logo or design, giving the opportunity to strengthen your brand.
Two distinct bottle types are offered - a traditional swing-stopper range and the recently launched designer 750ml screw top bottle with colour-coded cap and tamper-evident seal. This newer version allows venues to serve a sealed, stylish, finished product that has a higher perceived value, making it perfect for bars, pubs and restaurants.

The Guildford Arms is a Georgian-
style gastropub in Royal Greenwich.
There are two dining rooms and an
area for private dining where guests
enjoy chef patron Guy Awford’s
delicious modern British food.
When refurbishing the pub in 2013,
an EcoPure Waters’ filtration system
was installed
to provide
drinking water
for customers.
Owner
Jon Hallett
explains why:
“Sustainability was high on our
agenda when we reopened the
pub, so we wanted to avoid using
bought-in bottled water. This would
help us reduce waste and the cost of
its disposal, and minimise the ‘food
miles’ involved in buying-in bottled
water.”
“The EcoPure system, with re-usable
glass bottles, was definitely the way
forward in terms of sustainability.
An added advantage is that the
bottles help build our image through
in-house marketing; the swing-top
bottles not only look good, but they
are also branded with our logo and a
sustainability statement.”
“We have chosen
to charge our
customers £3.00
per litre bottle of
still or sparkling
drinking water,
which is much less
than others charge for mineral water.
Our customers are happy to pay
this as the overall package - high
quality water, beautifully presented -
offers very good value. Charging for
the water also allows us to make a
contribution towards the capital cost
and running of the system.”

Situated in a Victorian warehouse
in the centre of Dalston, north-east
London, POND Dalston is one of the
capital’s most popular destination
restaurants, serving cocktails, bar
food or a full feast, Hawaiian style.
Since it opened in September 2014,
the POND Dalston has relied on an
EcoPure Waters’ filtration system to
provide the drinking water needs of its
customers.
General
Manager Rian
Holland explains
why. “We were
looking for
an easy and
convenient way
of serving high
quality drinking water to customers
in our bar and restaurant. At the
same time we wanted to avoid using
bought-in bottled water, not only
because it’s relatively expensive but
also to minimise waste. We didn’t
want to spend time and money on
handling and disposing of used
bottles.”
“The EcoPure Waters’ filtration system
is an ideal solution for our busy
operation, producing an unlimited
supply of still and sparkling water
on demand. The filtered water is
clear and tasty, despite the fact
our mains water is very hard and
leaves limescale residues when used
unfiltered.”
“We serve the water in swing-stopper
bottles which suits the cool, retro feel
of our dining room. The bottles are
also branded with our logo which
helps keep our name right in front of
customers.”
“We offer bottles
of water to
our restaurant
customers at a
small, one-off
charge of £1
which allows them
to have unlimited
refills during their stay. Keeping
guests continually topped-up with
water, as well as other drinks, gives
us an opportunity to demonstrate our
excellent service.”
“Customers in our cocktail bar are
offered free bottles of water. This
is not just to help our guests stay
sensibly hydrated while drinking. The
chilled, filtered water also cleans
and refreshes the palate between
drinks, helping guests get maximum
enjoyment from our cocktails.”

Hidden away in the back streets of Fulham, The Harwood offers award-
winning food and wine in a casual and relaxed setting. Championing
the very best British produce, The Harwood is currently
the only Michelin-starred pub in London.
Alex Sergeant, General Manager, explains why they
use an EcoPure Waters’ filtration system to provide
drinking water for guests while improving sustainability
and reducing costs.
“We used to buy-in relatively high quantities of bottled
mineral water, but we became very aware of the
environmental and cost implications. It’s not just
about food miles and delivery costs; it’s also about
the time and space for storing the bottles before
use and then having to recycle them after use. By
installing an in-house filtration system we avoid
all these issues.”
“Specifying an EcoPure Waters’ system was
a natural choice for us because I had used
them before at another establishment. I was
very happy with their customer service and
all-inclusive maintenance package. The
filtered water - still and sparkling - is of very
high quality which, as an award-winning
restaurant, is very important to us and our
guests.”
“Our customers are very happy to pay the
£2.00 we charge per bottle of water, which
also entitles them to a free refill for the rest
of their stay. This is much less than they
would be paying for an equivalent bottle
of mineral water and, at the same time, it
allows us to recover some of the revenue we
used to earn when we sold mineral water.”
