Ecopure® ORC: Electricity from waste heat

Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) is a process for generating

electricity from waste heat. Compared to other similar

processes, small heat sources and low temperatures

are particularly suitable for ORC. With ORC technology,

unused thermal energy can be turned to profit! Good

examples of high-temperature heat sources include

gas motors or other combustion processes, while low-

temperature heat sources can consist of geothermal,

solar or industrial waste heat. Dürr continues to be a

leader in energy efficiency technology and systems.
