10. Course overview: International Business Management is relatively new field of study in comparison of other
academic subjects. Rapid developments in business activities internationally increased the
significance of this field. Recently, International Business Management obtained greater
attention from academics and researchers at universities and academic centers all over
the world. Middle Eastern countries are not excluded by this. After 2003, Iraq and the
Federal Region of Kurdistan moved to a new level and position in business particularly in
international business activities. Thus, developing this field has become an extremely
important area; in order to answer the needs of the market and prepare academics to
work within MNCs and foreign investors efficiently and effectively.
11. Course objective: To increase understanding of global markets and various regions of the world. To develop skills including multicultural group work, making decisions in different
cultural environments and leadership skills for international managers. Studying International Business Management can prepare students for positions
across the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
12. Student's obligation The attendance of students in lectures will have extra credit. He / she is required to continuously follow the lectures, submits homework and assignments. Expect quizzes any time.
13. Forms of teaching Teaching is via lectures, discussing key conceptual and theoretical ideas in International Business Management. Tutorial sessions complement the lectures, and offer students the opportunity to discuss further the concepts presented in lectures in relation to the group

14. Assessment scheme To evaluate students, the lecturer will make a quiz after each topic, there is also group
presentation, and there is one test of midterm of 30 points and there is a final exam of 60
points

To increase understanding of global markets and various regions of the world.
It is practical techniques to support international management, such as country
evaluation, methods international market entry and market development planning.
To develop skills including multicultural group work, making decisions in different
cultural environments and leadership skills for international managers.
It pays special attention to issues such as globalization, FDI, the importance of the
MNC, managing human resources within the MNC.
