2. PRE READING ACTIVITY Introduction
3. Teacher starts the class by showing a video about a social
experiment of how treatment was given differently towards the rich
and poor people. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiI5j1OvDxk
Teacher asks students to take notes of what they think about the
video
4. After the video is finished, teacher makes a table comparing
how the rich and the poor were being treated. (Appendix 1) The
teacher asks students to use words to describe how the rich and
poor people were being treated. Expected answers would be:
respected, ignored, nice, rude, etc. Students are allowed to use
dictionary to look up more words.
5. WHILE READING ACTIVITY Development After reading the story,
teacher gives out a few questions for the students to answer

myself from falling in love with you. You are so beautiful. Please
tell me you will see me . . . I know I can offer you more than that
rich fool you're sitting with. I may not have his money or his
looks, but I love you far more than he ever could. Please be mine!'

a wasted opportunity - she wanted me to have a rich husband. page
