FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: THE MAAS360 APPLICATIONS DIDN'T DOWNLOAD. WHAT DO I DO?
A: If you are missing any of the MaaS360 apps that are mentioned in Step 4, please go to the
RBC App Store and download the apps. You will find them in the Most Downloaded section.
Q: WHAT IS A SOFT VPN TOKEN? HOW DO I GET IT ON MY NEW CORPORATE PHONE?
A: Soft Tokens replace your physical VPN token with a smartphone app that is synchronized
with our security infrastructure, in lieu of entering your PIN and token into the Citrix web
form or VPN client. You will need to download the RSA SecurID application. Please see the
Soft Token VPN Installation Instructions section.
Q: HOW DO I TRANSFER CONTACTS AND PHOTOS FROM MY BLACKBERRY TO MY NEW CORPORATE PHONE?
A: Outlook contacts will automatically be transferred to your new device as part of the set-up
process (through the MaaS360 app). The transfer of information other than Outlook contacts

Q: SHOULD I USE MY RBC EMAIL ACCOUNT TO SET UP AN APPLE ID OR GOOGLE ID?
A: Yes. This will enable the support team to provide greater assistance if there are any issues.
Q: WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO PUBLIC APPS, OR JUST THE APPS IN THE RBC CONTAINER?
A: Most users can access all public apps through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Keep
in mind that RBC actively monitors all its electronic assets for threat attempts and intrusions.
Some applications may be blocked, removed, or quarantined to protect the network.
