SR 686 (Roosevelt Blvd.) will be reconstructed from the Bayside Bridge to SR 688 (Ulmerton Rd.) as a 2-lane road with access to the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport. CR 296 (118th Ave.) will be reconstructed from US 19 to 31st Ct. North. I-275 will be reconstructed from South of Gandy Blvd. to North of 4th St. North.

across Pensacola Bay to replace the old bridge built in 1960. Built on 30” and 36” square prestressed concrete pile foundations, each bridge will have three 12’ travel lanes, two 10’ shoulders and a 10’ multi-use path. Aesthetic features include acrylic coatings, LED lighting, decorative concrete walls and scenic overlooks. This is the largest project to date in FDOT District 3 and the largest Infrastructure project in Northwest Florida.
