We are delighted to welcome Gill White – Director of Knowledge and Capability at CIPD. Gill is one of the CIPD Executive Team and we are very fortunate to have the opportunity to be able to welcome to Guernsey. Gill is passionate about CPD and People Development and truly drives the focus of Championing Better work and working lives. Through her enthusiasm and energy and focus she encourages members to capture their learning. In this session Gill will share with you the latest thinking on the HR map, MYCPD and go through what you can do to capture your learning. The Knowledge and Capability Directorate translates the strategy, research, thought-leadership and customer proposition work into world-class solutions for CIPD members and the broader customer-base. This is a rare opportunity to develop your knowledge on how you can develop yourselves and what tools are available.

Event Programme
Gill joined CIPD in July 2012 as Head of CIPD Training and was appointed
in September 2014 to head up the newly formed Directorate of Knowledge
and Capability. Prior to working for the CIPD, Gill has held a variety of Head
of L&D roles at Vodafone, Xchanging and SSP and Operational roles; such
as MD of the consultancy IDology; Op’s manager for Whitbread, Greenalls
and Vodafone.
Gill holds the prestigious Chartered Director status, one of only 1,000 in the
UK; Awarded by the Institute of Directors.

Wendy was responsible for delivering the strategy, managing the resources and
