Cleats

Welded onto the top of the A-frame columns to allow attachment of cables.

SPIGOT connection

Used for the connection of 2 circular steel tubes to achieve the desired length, which is 111 feet.

PIN JOINT

Attach column (masts) to base plate through welding.

Telescopic strut connection

Steel plate is welded and connected to a steel structure with a smaller diameter.

BALE RING

PTFE membrane is clamped onto the bale ring to form conical shaped structures. It is found on the top and bottom of the A-frame columns alternatively to achieve its form.

CABLE ANCHORINGSteel cables are anchored to the steel cleats which are welded onto the base plate. The base plate is then secured onto the concrete foundation with bolts and nuts.
