The future has started: ‐Finalof2010Women’sYouthWorldChampionship(inDominicanRepublic)‐FinalofPresident’sCupof2009Women’sWorldChampionship(inChina)‐Semi‐finalof2010Women’sJuniorWorldChampionship(inKorea)‐Finalroundof2008BeijingOlympicGames(inChina)

ThemarchoftheAsianHandballFederationhadbegunwhentheMartyrSheikhFahadAl‐AhmadAl‐Sabah,headoftheKuwaitidelegationattheseventhAsianGamesinTehran,Iran,in1974,presentedamotiontotheExecutiveCommitteeoftheAsianGames,requestingrecognitionofthehandballgameandalsotheformationoftheAsianHandballFederation.Sinceitsestablishmentin1976,37countrieshavebecomeofficialAHFmemberfederations.44AsiancountriesaremembersofIOC,sotheAHFwillfacealotofworktopromotethedevelopmentofhandballintheancientcontinent.AHF/PRCisoneofthe8commissionswithinthegeneralbodyofAHFanditconsistsofthePresidentand7members.TheAHF/PRCPresidentisalsomemberoftheAHFCouncil,theseconddecisionmakingbodyofthecontinentalfederationaftertheCongress.In2002duringthe14thAHFOrdinaryCongressinBusan(KOR),thenewBylawsandRegulationsofAHF/PRCwereunanimouslyadopted.DawudTawakoliwhoactedasAHFExecutiveAssistantattheAHFHeadquartersworkedontheBylawsatthattime.In2010somepartsoftheBylawswereupdatedaccordingtothecurrentBylawsofIHF/PRC.InthiswaytheworkofAHF/PRCwasbetterdefinedinordertoincreasetheareaofresponsibilityoftheCommissiontospeedupthedevelopmentofrefereeingwithintheeventsofAHF.TheIranianDawudTawakolihasbeenPresidentofAHF/PRCsince2004;heisalsomemberofIHF/PRC.Atthe17thAHFOrdinaryCongressinMarch2009hewasre‐electedtohisposition.SincethentheAHF/PRChasconsistedofthefollowingmembers:
