Dr. Julie a. Donnelly, PhDdiscusses A Mother’s Story: The Account of Jean-Paul Bovee dr. donnelly is the Assoc. director of the missouri state autism agency for the dept. of education. Her son, Jean-paul Bovee, was diagnosed as autistic at the age of three. despite difficult school years, he graduated from high school, finished college, and earned two master’s degrees. Jean-paul is a librarian, information specialist and a disability rights activist. He is married and has a son. dr. donnelly is a consultant on autism.
