ZILLERTAL

Tyrol is situated between Vorarlberg, Salzburg and Carinthia

the state is split into three parts – a larger called North Tyrol, a smaller

called East Tyrol and South Tyrol in Italy

with a land area of 12,683.85 km² it is the third largest state in Austria

it is located in the Eastern Alps and is a transit country

it is the widest southern tributary of the Inn-Valley and stretches from Strass in
