the prizes were to be awarded for the best work as represented in a wonder- ful collection as submitted by clever women throughout the three counties concerned Those tivho have viewed the spark- ling ¬ displays of toothsome jellies rich preserves pats of golden butter the cakes the pies and a hundred other triumphs In this branch of domestic- art will readily realize that the choos- ing of the very best among an array of such perfection could not have been but difficult For hours the judges strove with the task before them and the fact that Escambia Baldwin and Santa Rosa counties have some
