Founded in August 2006, CRCC Asia began as China Consulting Ltd and

China Recruitment Ltd in the U.K., offering strategic assistance to SME’s

looking to enter the Chinese market and provide internship opportunities

and intensive courses in China. The company has since expanded

internationally and now has offices around the globe. As the leading

provider of internships in China, we offer students and graduates the

opportunity to further their personal and professional development while forging unique links between China

and the global community.

Daniel Nivern Daniel co-founded CRCC Asia in 2006. He was the Vice President of the Oxford Cambridge Club Beijing and one of the founding members of the UK based China Advisers Network.

Edward Holroyd Pearce Edward co-founded CRCC Asia in 2006. Having graduated from Cambridge and as a fluent Mandarin speaker, he has been featured in numerous publications for his expertise on Asia.

Thomas Kirkwood Thomas Kirkwood- Thomas became the third director of CRCC Asia in 2008. He is the owner of Kirkwood & Sons LLP, a board member of Sino Geophysical, a shareholder in Yeepay and an advisor on energy matter to KW&Co.

Language & Courses

Spend up to 6 months on Hainan Island, China’s Hawaii. Study

Mandarin at Hainan Normal University for two months,

and spend the following four months learning about the hos-

pitality and travel industry by interning in a Five Star hotel.

CRCC Asia works in partnership with top Chinese schools to provide you with the best in quality Mandarin language instruction. You will learn through daily lessons with professional instructors as well as organized field trips. No previous Chinese prerequisites are required as we offer small classes for beginners, or one-on-one instruction for all other levels. Our program is designed to get you speaking immediately and give you the confidence to use your Chinese in real, everyday situations.

As China quickly rises to become the world’s top economic position, companies worldwide are increasingly seeking candidates who have an understanding of this unique business environment and it’s interactions with the global market. This course will give you an edge in your career development and expand your awareness of Chinese finance and international markets.

CRCC Asia is invested in creating lasting partnerships with universities around the globe. We work to build relationships with institutions

and students in order to better connect the world to China. Our courses and programs

are accredited running in conjunction with American and British universities.

Although we are aware that the majority of CRCC Asia participants are self-funded, we

understand that not everyone holds the same financial situation. Our commitment to making

our program as accessible as possible is shown through our numerous funding opportunities.

CRCC Asia has created ten scholarships per year which are offered through participating

universities. Please contact your career department or call us to find out if your

university is involved.

Social ResponsibilityIn the presence of limited social services, local communities in China often serve as the only means to provide people with the emotional, physical and social support needed to thrive. CRCC Asia establishes a high level of social responsibility by applying its resources to these under-served communities and maintaining a strong level of charitable involvement.

Annual Community Day - Each summer, hundreds of interns serve their community by volunteering with five local charities for the day. The day is concluded by attending CRCC Asia’s annual charity fundraising event.

Charity Work and Donations - CRCC Asia commits to helping China’s underprivileged youth by collaborating with and providing monetary support for: –The Migrant School in Shanghai –Huiling School in Beijing

Directors’ Work - All three directors are involved with organizations that support not-for-profit and charitable work. Some of these include: Smile Train in China, the China Red Cross and the Peace Corps.
