Yiddish Songs of the Jazz Age - Temple Rodef Shalom · Droll, whimsical songs from a giddy time...

1
In the 1930s a Warsaw shopkeeper published lyrics of the biggest Yiddish theater hits of his time. Sometimes droll, sometimes nostalgic, these once- famous songs disappeared after the Holocaust. Peppler spent three years searching out their melodies - she’ll talk about the search and sing the songs. With subtitles so you don’t miss anything!
