I always get a bit excited when a new Snap-on tool arrives for testing, and this time was no different with the ½ Inch drive 18V Lithium Cordless Impact wrench.

arriving in a sturdy bag with two batteries and a charger, i ripped it open and put it to the test straight from the bag. with only a ¾ charge in one battery, it took the wheels off a 4wd landcruiser easily. impressive also was the bright led light that beams out towards your target upon the trigger being depressed.

the impact wrench was used extensively during testing and was quiet and power efficient the whole time. each battery has a useful led charge indicator on it, and power output remains strong even when battery charge is dwindling.

i’m very impressed with this tool – good work snap-on!
