Designed and engineered in Canada, no other outboard DSP on the market in this price class provides the XP’s 96kHz sampling, 40 bit floating point DSP engine, and high performance 24 bit converters. The end result is best in class audio performance. The XP Series from Xilica Audio Design brings a new level of audio performance and value to the world of fixed architecture DSP for performance sound and fixed audio installations. Description: The XP Series are fixed architecture, fully programmable, digital, audio system processors (they are essentially the XD-Series minus the XD’s FIR filters and digital I/O). XP-2040, XP-3060, XP-4080, and XP-8080 models provide four (4) I/O sizes - 2x4, 3x6, 4x8 (with XLR I/O connectors), and 8x8 (with Euro/Phoenix I/O connectors). “M” model versions of each provide selectable mic/line inputs. For the XP’s DSP modules, layout, and functions - see the chart below and the information on the right. Inputs can be matrix mixed/routed to any or all outputs; Ethernet, USB, and RS232 connectivity for configuration and control is standard; and the processor can be programmed using the included XConsole software GUI or via the processors front panel controls. Control XP processors on the network using the XConsole software GUI; with our optional XPanel and Touch 7 wall mount controls (a PoE Ethernet switch required); or use our free XTouch control software on your own Android device to control XP Series processors (wireless router required). Applications: FOH performance sound-loudspeaker management; floor monitors; recording studio monitor processing-stereo and multichannel; broadcast production; time/phase crossover alignment; fixed audio installations; delayed speakers; zoned systems; acoustic correction.
