CPQI Committee Origin and Purpose
• Established in 2000 to resolve concrete performance issues.
• Current Objective is to promote quality improvements and use of emerging technologies that can be implemented to improve the quality and cost effectiveness of concrete pavements.

• Developing Intersection Jointing Standards– Based on ACPA publication– CT forthcoming early this year
• CPQI Committee to increase speed in addressing specific issues by developing a “parking lot” and issue-driven meetings and actions between Committee meetings

– Develop Standard for medium thickness concrete overlays (Proposed Section 522)
