REJECT ROD ADJUSTMENT

Open pllonograph dame assembly and removc the program holder, then close dome assembly. Depress reject button f i r m l y . View ing SLUG REJECTOR thrrrugh fhe dome assembly, verify that the BRACKET and CAM ASSEMBLY is frilly depressed with i / 4 ' h f the reject button remaining.

Should adjustment of t h e REJECT ROD be necessary, loosen REJECT ROT) ADJUSTIhrG NUTS and position the REJECT ROD as required for proper opcsation. Tighten REJECT ROD ADJUSTING NUTS.

Be sure that the phonograph is positioned an a level surface p r i o r t o making any adjustments to the SLUG REJECTOR MOUNTING PLATE. Should it be messary to compensa te f o r uneven footing, the following methods may be used.

1 . Side to side leveling of the phonograph may be accomplished by placing blocks o r s t r ips under the casters on t h e low side of the cabinet. Check SLUG IIEJECTORfor proper coin acceptance.

2 . Fronttoback-lcvelingaftheSLUGREJECTORmaybeaccomplishedbylooseningthe seven MOUNTING SCREWS and positioning the SLUG REJECTOR MOUNTING PLATE as

A. Ul~lock and raise the UJTER DOOR ASSEMBLY to its f u l l height.

B. L a the SERVICE DOOR LATCHES on both sides of the cabinet.

Unhook the two SERVICE DOOR FA1 SUPPORT CI-LAINS at: ttltlc cabinet end Lift t he SERVICE DOOR out of t h e cabinet.

F. Ful l the RECORD CHANGER lo rward , then lift the front of the RECORD CHANGER. The spr ing loaded FALL SUPPORTS w i l l d r o p into position

To return t h e RECORD CHANGER to its normal operating position, lift t h e front of t h e RECORD CI-IANGER then depress t h e FALL SUPPORT EXTEN- SIONS a n d lower t11c RECORD CHANGER. PHONOGRAPH SPEAKERS The phonograph s p e a k e r s a r e low impedance s p e a k e r s and a r e normal ly connected t o the A and G t e rmina l s of each channel of the Model 556 Ampl i f i e r . They may be moved t o e i the r B, C, o r D t e rmina l s fo r required loudness level with r e s p e c t to loudness level of auxi l iary s p e a k e r s .

LOW IMPEDANCE AUXILIARY SPEAKERS The impedance of a s p e a k e r is expressed in o h m s . Most low impedance aux i l i a ry s p e a k e r s ( speakers without matching t r a n s f o r m e r s ) used with coin opera ted phonographs have a n impedance of 8 ohms, that is, they p resen t a load of 8 ohms when connected t o the output t e rmina l s of a n ampl i f i e r .
