    IDEAS VOICE

    Definition:

    The heart of the message; the centralidea and support.

    - Clarity- makes sense- Focus- narrow and manageable

    size

    - Quality Details- noticing littlethings that others might not

    Definition:

    The personal quality of the piece- thesense of the writer behind the words.

    - Flavor or tone is appropriate tothe purpose of the audience.

    - Commitment to the topic- Involvement enthusiasm,

    integrity.

    3) Advice: used to convince someone tobelieve the way you do about a problem or

    situation(ex: Dear Abby)
