Small portions of the pattern are unique.
The pattern consists of a large number of ink based, printed dots 36 dots (6 x 6), with 4 individual offset positions, correlates to one (x, y) coordinate.
The paper is printed with Color Laser printing techniques (>1200 DPI printer recommended)

• The Pen only “sees” the carbon based ink dots of the pattern on paper. All other print in non-carbon based ink is invisible to the pen.
• The Pen stores all the coordinates and actual time the
coordinates were written in a (x, y, t) format. This makes it possible to know exactly when something was written.
