Math Study CenterThis course is designed to give students

time to practice the math skills and reasoning that they are learning in their

regular math classes.

This course is a semester (18 week) course.

There will be no grade assigned to this course. Students that select this course will be required to pass 5 of 6 courses instead

of 5 of 7 courses for athletic eligibility.

Reading/Language Arts

Students will:• Analyze text for craft

& structure• Learn about the

world through informational text

• Use a variety of forms in writing (argumentative, narrative, etc.)

We use Google Docs to keep student work in one place and

give feedback.

Students read silently for 20

minutes every day.

Act out skits, play games, celebrate

holidays, and learn about other cultures.

Seventh Grade Band

• Play large band music every day • 4 concerts (one each quarter) • Use SmartMusic in class, and

learn how to play new notes and rhythms.

• Elementary schools tour

If your child does not have experience with a musical instrument, please contact Mr. Klabunde to create a

plan for success.
