World Mission Sunday
This weekend every Catholic parish in
the world celebrates
World Mission Sunday
to focus attention on the missionary
needs of the church. World Mission
Sunday celebrates our unity as a
human family & provides an
opportunity to support the
life-giving presence of our Church
among the suffering & the poor.
World Mission Sunday was
established in 1926 as a day by which
the whole church can live out its
mission - to share the Gospel with others
so that all the faithful can
become disciples of Jesus.
The focus of this year’s collection is:
“With Youth, We proclaim
the Gospel to all.”
