Renewable Energy Equipment Grant Program
Approximately $40,000.00 rolled over to begin new projects.
Additional funds will be available for 2009.
Project maximum has been raised to $4,700.00.
![Page 6: Workshops 1 Affordable Housing and Renewable Energy: Lessons Learned 2:30-4:00 pm](https://reader037.fdocuments.in/reader037/viewer/2022103006/56813e80550346895da8a9e4/html5/thumbnails/6.jpg)
Renewable Energy Equipment Grant Program
Auditor time for program delivery can be cost allocated to the project above the $4,700 with a maximum additional cost of $235 (5%).
Solar-air equipment must have SRCC certification (Solar Rating Certification Corp.).
Bio-fuel equipment must meet EPA Phase II emission standards.
![Page 7: Workshops 1 Affordable Housing and Renewable Energy: Lessons Learned 2:30-4:00 pm](https://reader037.fdocuments.in/reader037/viewer/2022103006/56813e80550346895da8a9e4/html5/thumbnails/7.jpg)
Renewable Energy Equipment Grant Program
Grant applies to Solar Air and Bio-fuel systems.
Clients must have current EAP eligibility.
Projects must be associated with a weatherization project or can be done on previously weatherized homes.
![Page 8: Workshops 1 Affordable Housing and Renewable Energy: Lessons Learned 2:30-4:00 pm](https://reader037.fdocuments.in/reader037/viewer/2022103006/56813e80550346895da8a9e4/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
Renewable Energy Equipment Grant Program On previously weatherized homes a
Standalone event must be downloaded into WA for the project.
Agencies must download a new cost center into WA called the Renewable Energy Grant.
All project proposals must be sent using PDF form.

Renewable Energy Equipment Grant Program
The Rural Renewable Energy Alliance, (RREAL), is contacted by the Weatherization Agency and a solar site analysis is requested.
RREAL completes the solar site analysis and determines feasibility of project.
![Page 12: Workshops 1 Affordable Housing and Renewable Energy: Lessons Learned 2:30-4:00 pm](https://reader037.fdocuments.in/reader037/viewer/2022103006/56813e80550346895da8a9e4/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
The Weatherization Agency creates a Standalone event in Weatherization Assistant, or work order is created for an existing Audit event in Weatherization Assistant.
![Page 13: Workshops 1 Affordable Housing and Renewable Energy: Lessons Learned 2:30-4:00 pm](https://reader037.fdocuments.in/reader037/viewer/2022103006/56813e80550346895da8a9e4/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
