INTRO

My name is Timea Szabo, I am a young architect who recently moved to Boston. Beside acquiring my Master’s degree, I gained various professional experiences in the field of architecture, real estate development and project management. I came to know different aspects of architecture while I used to study in Barcelona, worked in Rome and graduated in Budapest.

BORD Architectural Studio has got the comission to design a modern residential park which can adjust to the green context of the city's Great Forest as much as possible.

TheThe freestanding volumes of the residential buildings are set around a valley-like formed central park. Nature runs up freely over the facades whose slooping forms are created by the withdrawn terraces of the elegant flats to compose a ‘valley’ for the park. This sunny 'green valley' provides an intimate space as the buildings form a closed unit from outside. The appearance of the build-ings from the direction of the streets is conventional in order to blend well into the existing image of the villa district of Debrecen. The attractive residential park is expected to become a fresh dash of colour in the quickly developing city with its generous, energetic design, and exciting volumes

My very first design project from the second year. It's a private house for a family with 4 children on a intense sloped hill in a charming neighbourhood of Budapest. I drew the plans by hand and I still like to look at it with nice nostalgy.
