I would value prayer for a big Evangelistic Dinner I am speaking at in country N.S.W. 10th March, that God will bring women to know Jesus. No overseas trips are planned for awhile, but I have many speaking opportunities in my home state. My daughter Nicole was taken by air ambulance to the Sydney hospital that specializes in caring for liver transplant patients. Please pray that the doctors will be able to keep her going longer before the second transplant needs to happen. God has given her a wonderful ability to stay calm and cope well, but she worries about her husband and young children who are 600 klms away. My love and thanks dear sisters,

1. Pray for the ongoing training of women

leaders in the Arab World.

2. Pray for the March conference in Turkey and

all those who will attend.

3. Pray for protection and safety for our

partners

4. Praise the Lord for the work He is doing in

the 22 Arab nations.

Arab Women's Conference in Turkey

Dear friends,

We are making the final preparations for the

Arab Women's Conference in Turkey in March and

praising God for all He has done in bringing these

women together! Especially in these uncertain

economic times!

We praise Him that $40,000 has been given to

provide for Christian women throughout the Arab

region to come to this important time of training,

praying, sharing and encouraging one another in the

Lord.

The local churches in the Arab World have

raised an additional $15,000 so that some of their

leaders might be able to attend, which is huge for these

very small, often poor, congregations.

We are so thankful to all those who have

given; it will make a huge impact in the lives of these

women, who in turn, will impact many, many others in

their countries.

We covet your prayers for this conference

March 20-25th. We ask that you pray with us for the

money still needed to cover all the costs of the

conference. WOGA provides transportation/visas/

conference and lodging expenses for each of these

women who otherwise would not be able to attend.

If you would like to support this important

outreach to the Muslim world, please pray and, if led,

give so that every woman is able to attend.

We so appreciate your faithful support and

encouragement! Let us know if you can help

Blessings, John and Diane.

Central AfricaPeace Nihorimbere, WOGA's Central Africa Director, will be visiting several US cities in March 2009 during the first and second weeks. She will be in Houston during the first week, then on to Los Angeles and then to Colorado.

We would love to have this visit bathed in prayer and invite you to be a part of the prayer team.

Please pray daily, from today on through March 12, asking the Lord to pour out His blessings on this visit.

Here are specific requests:1. WOGA is the only funding source for the women in Peace's programs (micro-enterprise combined with biblical discipleship) - that is, for 100 women in both Rwanda and Burundi (the world's poorest nation).

2. Please pray that the Lord would touch many hearts during Peace's visit here in such a way that resources are poured out generously toward these women.

3. Pray that Peace would be greatly encouraged and strengthened during her time here. Daily in Burundi, Peace has women coming to her door with burdens too great to bear. She needs encouragement!

4. Pray for divine appointments - the Lord has plans beyond ours and He can make connections that will result in more blessing than we can imagine!

Thank you for your support and friendship and encouragement and prayers! We know that the Lord hears the prayers of His sons and daughters! In anticipation,Cheryl Lovejoy

Peace Nihorembere, WOGA director for Central Africa, will be in the States for several weeks in March, speaking at our WOGA meeting March 2 and our Global Action dinner on March 3. She will then travel and speak in LA and Colorado Springs before going to Canada to see her children. This kind of schedule can be very exhausting.

Please do pray for Peace as she shares, that hearts will be touched and moved to get involved. Pray, too, that this will be an encouraging, strengthening time for Peace. Her load is great! Pray that the projects in Burundi can continue; WOGA is their only support, so it is critical.

Pray for our team going to Turkey March 19-30 for the WOGA Arab Christian Women’s Conference!

This is the conference held every other year to bring Christian women together from all the Arab nations for training, sharing, encouragement, and refueling for the huge demands and challenges they face.

It is an extraordinary time for these women and for everyone coming from the states!!

• For the team: protection, unity, empowerment in all we do and say, passion

and compassion, willingness to listen, learn, share hearts and encourage

• For the Arab women: For the Lord to meet their needs, give them freedom of spirit and courage to share openly in the conference, have open hearts to how the Lord leads, hearts to be set ablaze to touch the lives of other Arab women, the faith to move mountains, protection against Satan’s attacks, vision for how the Lord wants to use them to disciple other women and train up future leaders, and that they will experience the joy and hope of knowing Jesus.

• Pray for N., who directs ministry to women for AWEMA. She greatly needs someone to help her with training, travel and basically, a duplicate of herself. Her schedule and responsibilities are overwhelming!

• More leaders are needed to cover the discipling, training and oversight of the groups of Arab women believers N. has developed in numerous countries.

• Pray for protection, strength, wisdom and help for N. as she pours herself out to Arab women.

Take time to be holy, the world rushes on;Spend much time in secret with Jesus alone.By looking to Jesus, like Him thou shalt be;Thy friends in they conduct His likeness shall see.

Take time to be holy, let Him be thy guide, and run not before Him, whatever betide. In joy or in sorry still follow thy Lord, and looking to Jesus, still trust in His Word.

Take Time to be Holy
