A traineeship is a work-based (on-the-job) training program whereby an employer and employee enter into a formal agreement known as a ‘Training Contract’, and agree for the employee to undertake training to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.

The training contract spells out certain conditions and requirements that must be followed by both parties.requirements that must be followed by both parties.

Employees who:

Have been employed with an organisation for less than 3 months full-time or 12 months part-time. Work a minimum of 15 hours/week for a 1 year course and 21 hours/week for a 2 year course.

There is also an option to continue the training to the Diploma level qualification, where you can choose to study a specialised area of your choice.

BENEFITS TO THE TRAINEE

This training program will be delivered on-site at your workplace and catered to your organisation’s needs.

Trainees will be provided with training materials and supported by a 3-AAA Training & Consulting Pty Ltd Trainer/Assessor, who will regularly contact the trainee and workplace supervisor in the organisation.

You may apply for recognition of existing competence which you have gained through previous studies and/or life and work experience. Competency is demonstrated through a portfolio of evidence mapped against the qualification.
