Wants vs. NeedsShow your future saver the difference between wants and needs. Needs are the items that you must have in order to live. Wants are items that you like to have but can live without.
Saving vs. SpendingIt’s up to you to show your child how to save and spend wisely. Go shopping and explain how to comparison-shop.
WISE SPENDING HABITS START EARLYAnytime and any age is a good time to start teaching your child about money.
Share the BudgetIf you’re comfortable, show your child the family budget. This is the perfect opportunity to teach how quickly cell phones, internet and grocery shopping trips can add up.
