“Good God A’Mighty!” is a explosively hilarious production that takes a comical look into the African American church and imitates the ways and culture of church folk when a young, good‐looking Pastor arrives from NYC to face a southern congregation in the heart and heat of New Orleans. The zany situations are non‐stop when the two Mothers of the church can’t keep their hands off him… but everybody is not happy about the Pastor’s arrival and the bombastic choir director played by Tony Award

actress Melba Moore, tries to run him out of “The Big Easy” to the “Big Apple”!

Melba Moore will be joined by Comedians Just June (Coming to America, HBO Def Jam) and funny man, Dante Carter (Comedy Central, HBO Def Jam), who will return bringing endless fun and laughter to the show.

Comedic writer and playwright, Lolita Snipes is at it again with this highly anticipated revival of the hit comedy stage play “Good God A’Mighty!”

Behind the scenes Lolita Snipes teamed up with the legendary Theresa Hightower as Vocal Director; famed set designer, Paula Monette; acclaimed film and television producer Verda“Bella Blu” Watson and DJ Cut Master Swiff(producer/ Grammy award winning group OutKast) to add a new flavor to this phenomenal production.

Theatrically the production brings to the stage expressions of the Black gospel experience from a‐capella singing to the Holy dance that is the identity of Black folks and remains unchanged through time. With endorsements from Bishop Dale Bronner and Andre 3000, “Good God A’Mighty!” performed to sold out audiences across the southeast receiving rave reviews from the Atlanta Journal and Orlando Sentinel editors to name a few. After endless requests by fans for an encore, the production is back for another run.

The Present Day Ruth is a stage play adapted from Anastasia Means‐Dallas’ “Waiting With A Purpose‐A Guide to Finding Your Boaz.” It’s a Christian play based on the biblical characters, Ruth and Boaz (Bo). Ruth and Bo are trying to raise their nieces Faith and Grace while their mother Nia is in jail. Meanwhile, Tia, their mother’s sister, is constantly influencing the girls through her worldly ways. Will this family be able to recover after a series of family secrets, trials and tribulations, and unhealthy relationships that hit their household? This play uses dancing, singing, and a sense of humor to retell portions of this rarely depicted biblical story with a twist.

Who should read this book? Anyone who is bound in their mind. Those who are having trouble with forgiveness. Anyone who have had or have family members on drugs, selling drugs, in gangs or in prison. Anyone who have been abused mentally, emotionally or physically.

What is the biggest deception to the gang life or drug trafficking? Most people think that it is a easy life because of the fast money, but what they don't know is how paranoid drug dealers are, constantly having to look over their shoulders, not being able to really trust anyone. I never knew peace when I was

in that life, but since I’ve been saved I now know what peace is. That’s not living when you have to wonder if someone is going to double cross you just so that they don't have to go to jail. Most kids think that by joining a gang they will always have a family, someone that will have their back no matter what, that is not the case at all. Their enemies automatically become your enemies. Once you join the gang you immediately lose your self respect because you are now being told what to do, and how to do it. And "when" you go to prison, you will be doing that time alone. Your so called family will be nowhere in sight.

What can be done to help others avoid these traps? Talk to your children. Have an open line of communication with them. Let them know that getting an education and pursuing their dreams will not only get them the "lavish life" they desire, but also can give them peace. They can grow, live, and thrive. They can have a family. In the gang and drug game, you have to be concerned about people hurting those near and dear to you. Don't try to shield them from the reality of the streets. Instead educate them of the facts about gangs and drugs. If you don't then someone else will feed them an illusion.

What is the first step in becoming free? You have to admit that you are bound, in trouble, lost, confused, unstable, etc.

SankofaSpirit are free film screenings about Africa and the African Diaspora that informs and inspires dialogue. SankofaSpirit presents “Sankofa” followed by dialogue. Sankofa is an Akan word meaning “One must return to the past in order to move forward.”

Mona, a contemporary African American model is on a shoot at the infamous slave forts in Ghana, West Africa. Spirits lingering in the dungeons that were used to detain enslaved Africans over a century earlier possess her. She becomes Shola, “house slave” on a sugar plantation; she is in love with Shango, a rebellious field slave and she idolizes Nunu, her surrogate mother. Shola too, learns rebellion when the master advances on her one too many times. After her trials, Shola returns to the present as Mona, deeply aware of her African roots.
