SOLERA comes from word "suelo" (ground) refer to the butts nearest to the ground.
MAKING First tier laid down - SOLERASecond tier - CRIADERAThen the third criadera and so on.Always a year difference between each Criadera.When shipper has established his full line of criadera's he begun selling wines from Solera.One third of the wine is drawn off from the Original tier.The wine from the youngest or top row is replaced by 1/3rd by new wine.

Sherry is always a blended wine.
Sherry is sweeten wine made from raisin PEDRO XIMENEZ grapes.
VINO De COLOR : blending small amount of colored wine.
