Cavas del 23

Cavas Del 23 S.R.L is a small family owned boutique winery producing wines from our own vineyards in the Mendoza region of Argentina.

Our current annual production is 200,000 litres of red wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Bonarda, Syrah and Malbec, complemented with an uncommon Tocai white wine that is dry and full of fruit.

The winery, originally built in 1923, has been recently refurbished and, while retaining the original construction style, has a mixture of cutting-edge production technology combined with the traditional enamel lined concrete vats. In total there are 29 vats with a storage capacity of over 500,000 liters.

The Winery is ideally suited to our boutique model, with quality wines targeted at independent merchants.

Domados Wines

Domados was born from the dream of two Italian immigrants, who arrived at the beginning of the last century in the heart of the Uco Valley, in the southwest province of Mendoza. Don Giocondo Ficcardi and Humberto Spigatin began cultivating Malbec grapes in 1923 in La Consulta, one of the best soils in the world for these wines. Today, thanks to their children’s hard work, the tradition is carried on by their grandchildren, who have created Domados.

Finca Lomas Blancas

Finca Lomas Blancas was founded in 1856 by a Spanish immigrant, Don Juan de Dios Corzo. The bodega is located in Villa Sanagasta. The initial objective of the winery was to produce wine for local and family consumption. In the late 1950s, the winery was taken over by Salvador Minniti, a descendant of the original family, who returned to La Rioja from Mendoza, bringing with him new technology and expertise. Five years later, the winery began to commercialize its operation, selling under the name “Rincon del Indio.”

In 2004, the winery was put in the capable hands of Santiago Romero, son-in-law of the late Salvador Minniti. He has dedicated his time and energy into revamping the boutique winery, and nurturing its ancient vineyards. Today, blending new technology with the family’s traditional wine-making methods, Finca Lomas Blancas strives to produce

Fincas Rewen

The winery was founded in late 1990s by Carlos Tesler & Alberto Ciardi, two friends with European heritage, both passionate and in love with wine, who wanted to make their dream come true: to establish their own estate and create the best Argentine wines available to share among wine lovers around the world.

Story behind the brand

The Rewen is a sacred symbol from the pre-Columbian cultures, which existed in San Juan province. Huarpes aborigines used the Rewen in rituals to thank their Gods for the fertility of their lands.

Bodegas La Guarda was born as an homage to wine and all the people involved in wine making. Our wines are produced in the Tulum Valley, province of San Juan, Argentina, on the eastern side of the Andes Mountain range.

Due to its ideal meteorological and geographical features, this is a prime location for growing grape varieties such as Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Bonarda, Tannat and especially

above sea level and just a few kilometers away from the Andes Mountain range. It features a 300 day annual sun exposure, a 20°C temperature range, and a 150 mm average annual rainfall, thus providing excellent polyphenolic maturity to its grapes. The Zonda wind, warm and dry, reduces humidity, which results in avoiding microbe proliferation and illnesses and allowing the growth of a healthy grape. For irrigation, Andean run-off is used.

Muñoz de Toro Wines

At Muñoz de Toro Wines (www.mdtwines.com) we are developing several projects. One is Patagonia Argentina, in the Neuquén Province (www.valleperdido.com.ar), where we just purchased a second winery, Familia Grittini. Another project is located in the Andes Argentina, with wines from Mendoza and La Rioja Provinces, both produced in Mendoza at Bodega Lamadrid-Durigutti, including a full line of organic wines. The winery is located in Luján de Cuyo (www.argieandeswines.com.ar). And a third innovative project is located in the Pampas Argentina, in Sierra de la Ventana, Buenos Aires Province (www.pampasestate.com), where we produce old world grapes. Our principal winery is in Patagonia, with capacity over 3 million liters, state-of-the art-technology, and a luxury hotel, member of SLH and Kiwi Collection. We have worked with winemakers Alberto Antonini, Michel Rolland, and Héctor Durigutti. Some of our brands scoring over 90 points include: Valle Perdido, Argie, Cliff Raven, Elelin, Perdido, Terra Sacra, Lin Lin (China), Alquimia, Areo, and 100x100 Argentina.

This is one of the newest facilities in the province of Neuquén, one of the most exciting regions under development in Argentina today. In 2001, the Viñedos de la Patagonia stockholders invested in the San Patricio del Chañar colony, putting together a highly skilled professional team, and planting top quality varietals such as Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The Winery’s unique architecture is a blend of advanced winemaking technology combined with the esthetics of the Patagonian landscape. NQN has successfully installed the latest methods of irrigation and fertilization, in order to provide these southern lands with the best conditions possible to produce well-priced but high quality wines.

This is a new boutique winery that lies in the heart of the Río Negro Province, where the surrounding rivers and climate create an incomparable location for producing wines of delectable aroma and character. The vines are grown in clay soil, formed by the receding glacier. The name of our brand, “Rivus,” derives from the Latin word for “river,” in honor of the Río Negro (black river) that provides fresh water to our vineyards from the snow melting off the Andes. There are currently three lines in production: Selección 2007 and 2010;; Roble 1007 and Reserva and Gran Reserva 2008.

in San Paticio del Chañar in the province of Neuquén. The winery is devoted to producing high quality wines with outstanding personality, achieved through the unique characteristics of the Patagonian terroir. In 110 hectares of rocky soil are planted classic red wines such as Malbec, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, as well as white wines such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Torrontés. Both thermal amplitude and strong winds contribute to healthy fruit with a thicker skin which results in higher concentration of color and aroma, yielding full-bodied wines with concentrated bouquet, ideal for aging. The premium line, Primogénito, also offers an innovative system to monitor the aging process in bottle, called “Cork Tester.” A self-adhesive band is located under the capsule and around the neck;; when detached, it is possible to observe the evolution of the cork, and determine maximum time for aging.

Renacer

This winery was founded in 2003, by the owner, Patricio Reich. He did some research in the area and found this vineyard;; then he bought it and started building the winery. Renacer mainly makes Malbecs, because Malbec is the most representative grape in the region. Even if the Malbec grape is originally from France, it is in Mendoza where it found its true terroir – that is, best climate and soil conditions to grow. The factors which make Mendoza so good for Malbec are: 360 days of sun, with sunrises that are early and sunsets that are really late. The temperature range is wide (warm days and cool nights – same during both winter and summer). The winery uses grapes of 3 different regions in Mendoza: East Region, Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco.

Bodegas San Huberto has three main winery holdings: in Mendoza, in La Rioja and in China. In Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, the location is prime, offering the best terroir for the production of quality wines. The winery was renovated in 2001, and has a production capacity of 5.5 million liters. In La Rioja, San Huberto bought the Navarro family winery in the Valley of Aminga. And in Huailai, China, at the foot of the Great Wall, they have created a cutting edge winery, thus taking a big leap toward future world wine production. Their wines are created to satisfy the most sophisticated demands of local and international markets.
