Take a trip with us, off Ukraine’s beaten path, to immerse yourself and

learn more about Ukraine’s undiscovered wine culture.

Meanwhile, you’ll get to see all the highlights of Ukraine from east to west,

ranging from the golden domes of Kyiv, the maritime charm of Odesa, to the

‘Paris of Ukraine’ – the beautiful Lviv, and, well known for its wineries - the

Transcarpathia region of Ukraine.

wine! Ukraine has a well-established, reputed wine industry with some Ukrainian wines being exported

to neighboring countries, the European Union and the countries of North America. Winemaking in the

modern-day Ukrainian territory first appeared in the XI century in the northern part of the country,

around Kyiv and Chernihiv, with the first wine makers being monks.

Day 1 | September 21, Saturday: Kyiv

Welcome to Ukraine!

Upon arrival, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Check-in.

You will have some time to rest, before a brief city orientation.

Spend your time exploring this picturesque city - a unique place with a long and rich history.

In the evening, try different types of wine from different regions of Ukraine in one of the best

Ukrainian restaurants in Kyiv during a welcome dinner.

Day 2 | September 22, Sunday: Kyiv

Breakfast at the hotel.

Today, we will see the Golden Gates of Kyiv, and many beautiful Cathedrals, which will take your

breath away. Afterwards wander down Andriivsky Uzviz and do some souvenir shopping!

In the afternoon, we have prepared something special for you - a picnic on the beach of the

Dnieper river. Here we will try best sorts of Georgian wine - true connoisseurs will appreciate

their worth! Enjoy your time you definitely deserve it.

In the evening flight Kyiv - Odesa.

Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and evening at leisure.

Climatic conditions of Odesa are ideal for wine production. Here sunny days prevail over the cloudy,

the temperature is not too high in summer and not too low in winter. Humidity is not enough – but

this disadvantage is compensated by hardworking people of Odessa…

Being here get familiarity with the most modern, but at the same time enriched with centuries,

traditions and technologies. It is a meeting with unforgettable aromas and flavors of various wines.

It is a bunch of genuine emotion from contact with thousands of years of art creation of drink of the

gods.

Day 3 | September 23, Monday: Odesa

Breakfast at the hotel. Afternoon enjoy a leisurely walk through the city, learning its history and visiting the main tourist sites (Potiomkin steps, Derybasivska Street, and the local quay). Later, we will have lunch in one of the many local restaurants sampling best sorts of wine. Evening at your leisure.

Day 4 | September 24, Tuesday: Odesa

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you for a day trip to a special place– Shabo, one of

Ukraine’s best wineries. Here you will have a unique opportunity to take part in the

harvesting process for the grapes, in order to understand better the intricacies of

winemaking.

Afterwards, get a private tour of the premises, participate in a wine tasting with tips from a

professional sommelier, and then visit the gift shop to buy the products you enjoyed the

most! We will return back to the hotel in the evening.

Day 5 | September 25, Wednesday: Odesa

Breakfast at the hotel.

While we still have some time in the city, we will take you on excursion dedicated to the

architectural heritage of Odesa. You will learn and literally experience how multinational

Odesa is! After lunch you are cordially invited to visit the Shustov Cognac Museum - a

unique place with many years of history. Here you will be able to learn the history of this

noble drink and get to taste it.

In the evening, take a night train to Lviv!

Welcome to Lviv aka 'Paris of Ukraine'!

Place which is well-known for medieval atmosphere, delicious coffee, chocolate and of course tasty

wine! Although the climate didn't contribute to winemaking, yet Lviv was on the crossroads of

important trade routes, which in turn allowed local people to enjoy wines from different parts of

Europe and also formed the culture of drinking wine in general.

Day 6 | September 26, Thursday: Lviv

Welcome to the city, often called the 'Paris of Ukraine' – Lviv!

We will check in you at the hotel, then take some free time for rest after a long journey.

Later, take a city tour on a retro train and discover rich history of this magnificent place!

Stroll around the ancient streets of this charming city.

Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. After, you will participate in wine tasting at your

hotel’s secret wine bar! Soak up the unforgettable atmosphere, and enjoy the aromas of

this divine drink in full.

Day 7 | September 27, Friday: Lviv

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to Swirz – here you will admire the local castle,

founded back in 14th century. This place is also famous for its local winery, which produces

a unique raspberry wine! A local winemaker will share the secrets of their winemaking with

you - unforgettable experience is guaranteed!

We will return back to the hotel in the evening.

Spend the rest of this day at your own discretion!

Ukraine’s unique climate allows for the production of wine in almost every region of the country;

however southern region are the utmost leaders. There are wineries with histories that go back to

the nineteenth century juxtaposed with new private producers trying to conquer the market. Thus,

despite their slow growth, the wineries here have such charm and quality that they are certainly

worth discovering.

Day 8 | September 28, Saturday: Uzhhorod

After breakfast and check out, we will be heading to Mukachevo.

On the way we will stop for a visit to Schönborn Castle - one of the most beautiful castles

in Ukraine. Schönborn is a very ancient Austrian dynasty, many of whom belonged to the

Roman Catholic clergy.

Upon arrival to Mukachevo, we will take an excursion around the city, which history dates

back 1120 years.

In the evening, participate in a tasting of many exclusive drinks: wines, whiskey, rum, and

also cheeses in a secret cellar of Mukachevo.

Continuing our trip, we will head to Uzhhorod! Upon arrival, we will check in at the hotel.

Day 9 | September 29, Sunday: Uzhhorod

Breakfast at the hotel! Then, a city tour of the most prominent sights of Uzhhorod.

After, we will visit a local castle and participate in a wine tasting, sampling best varieties of

wine from this region.

Evening at your leisure.

Day 10 | September 30, Monday: Uzhhorod

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, we invite you to take a trip to Berehove and

enjoy the thermal waters of its recreation complex. The thermal waters of Transcarpathia

are famous for their healing properties. After the spa, we will return back to Lviv.
