*These trainings are one of the most cost effective ways to get into the sport!

• Safety• River Features & Signals• Self Rescue• Packing essentials

• Pool Session• Swim length of pool• Exit from capsized boat• Bring bathing suit & towel

• Sit on Top• Recreational Kayaks

• Wide and stable• 10’ - 16’ long• Good for flat water; clear

weather• Entry level

• Touring Kayaks• Longer and less wide• 15’ - 18’ long• Faster • Ability to carry gear

• You must successfully complete each level to move on to the next training

Gear• Kayaks, paddles, PFDs

and helmets are available for rental at a very reasonable rate
