Stage 3 ‘Campers’ are away at present at Morriset on the annual 3 day camp during Week 7. The ‘Outdoor Education Centre’ with their course presenters providing rewarding, exciting and challenging activities that the children would not normally experience in the school learning environment. The children look forward to this experiential camping activity. We will hear many stories upon their return. We look forward to the Year 5 students being part of the presentation of captains and prefects speeches following the return from camp. A special Friday assembly been arranged for the morning of Friday December 1st, to hear our candidates present in readiness for acceptance of these important leadership roles in 2018. Interrelate classes begin shortly for our Stage 3 classes. Stages 2 and 3 are on excursion to view the new release film ‘Wonder’ shortly, following the novel study earlier this year. We also await reports of our involvement with the ‘NSW School’s Spectacular’ held in Homebush, with our school dancers taking an active part in the program for the very first time. Finally for this mid-point of term 4, we appreciate the knowledge toward any changes that may well be forthcoming for 2018. Enrolment numbers are critical in ascertaining the structure of classes for the following year. If you know of families that have not enrolled for classes in 2018, please let us know here at the school. Likewise, if you are leaving the area and have not informed our front office, please do so in order for us to structure correctly for the following year. At Wilberforce we truly appreciate the tremendous partnership between school staff and parents in preparing the future pathways for our students here at the school. Our P&C group are always mindful of this partnership in creating betterment for our students. Our presentation day at Term’s end will reveal more of the strength in partnership that we have at our school. Presentation Day is set down for Wednesday, December 6 at 10.00am. Captain & Prefect Nominations On Friday 1 st December at 10:00am, our Year 5 students will present their speeches to the school. The students that are nominated will present speeches in front of their peers. We look forward to their speeches and to the voting for all students. Presentation Day Wednesday 6 th December 10:00am in our School Hall School Awards Class Awards Sports Awards Farewell to Year 6 Performances by the: School Choir and Dance Group Parents attending the morning presentation need to be at the Hall by 9:45am so that we can start promptly at 10:00am. Students will need to wear full school uniform. Every member of the Wilberforce community is invited to attend to celebrate the many great achievements of our students. 2018 Kindergarten Transition Afternoons

Please come along to our School Library on Thursday afternoons at 2:45pm to join in a range of fun school activities. You will be able to meet the Kindergarten teachers and visit our Kindergarten classroom. Transition afternoons will run every Thursday. We hope to see you there!
