Our ProgramsCurrently we offer 3 different programs. We have a multi-age program which is based around children between the ages of 18 months to 30 months. Our daycare program is based through the philosophy of learning through play. Our curriculum involves art, math, phonics, science, social skills and a variety of fine and gross motor play. We have two separate OSC classrooms one for children in grades K-2 and the other for children in grades 3-7. Our out of school care children take part in a variety of activities planned by our OSC teachers. Field trips are an extensive part of our Childcare program. The OSC children often participate in planned field trips during school professional days as well as school holidays.

Our Mission Statement

The Seaview Childcare staff is dedicated to making our facility a “home away from home” atmosphere and to provide excellent care and safety for the children.

Our Philosophy & Goals

We believe in the development of the whole child – the social, emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual areas of a child’s life – which are the keys to growing and developing into a healthy individual. We base this on our individual and corporate commitment to serving Jesus Christ while meeting the needs of each child at the centre. We teach about God our Father and his love through Bible stories, prayer, and application.

Admission Of ChildrenUpon admission to Seaview Childcare Centre parents must complete the following necessary forms:

In addition there is also a $25.00 non-refundable registration fee that must be paid to Seaview Childcare Centre to process the registration.

Arrivals & DeparturesWhen a child arrives he/she must be signed in by a parent/guardian and collected by either a parent/guardian or someone listed on the accepted pick up list. Anyone other than that will be asked to provide photo I.D to ensure the safety of the child.

Hours of OperationWe operate between the hours of 7am to 6pm in the Daycare and OSC program. Our Multi-age program operates between the hours of 7am to 5:30pm. Late pickups will be charged a fee of $1.00/minute after 6:05pm.

Fee PaymentsAll fees must be paid to Seaview Childcare no later than the 5th of the month. Payments can be made via cheque, cash or credit card. Late fees do apply if you don’t make your payment on time.

Nutrition PolicyWe encourage children to nourish their bodies with healthy and nutritious foods. We ask that parents pack plenty of fruit, vegetables and whole grains for their children. We ask that parents don’t send their children with baked goods, chocolate bars, fast food or juice boxes.
