Introduction When we know our certain things in order to help us in the way to Allah. This is the Life Project, which comprises of:

1. Who we are ? 2. Who is our lord ? 3. Who is our enemy ? 4. What is our goal ? 5. What must I do ?

The Quran is the best teacher to teach us gradually and slowly who is our lord.

Surah Baqarah - Ayah 131

From the name Rabb we can find all the actions of Allah i.e. how Allah is dealing with us. Based on Allah’s action we can determine what our action needs to be.

Now we will analyze the actions of Allah.

is telling us that Allah is addressing the Prophet SAW “Remember O إإذذ •Mohammed SAW when”

?is past tense, which means, “said”. The question arises who said قالل •

The doer here is Allah and the action is قالل i.e. “saying”. This affirms the action of Allah that he speaks and is addressing the Prophet SAW.

• The meaning of Rabb is “The Reformer, The Disposer of Affairs and The Nurturer

Meaning of Ar-Rabb

Ø Reforming – Allah makes someone who is imperfect goes through a situation so he is perfected therefore Allah is The Reformer.

Ø Disposing the affairs – Allah is disposing the affairs of every single

creation in the world. Allah is disposing of the affairs such that the person can be reformed. We need our Rabb to fix us. We need Allah to dispose of our affairs as we are imperfect

Ø The Nurturer – To take care and to upgrade slowly slowly through the

decree of Allah

What is the result of submission?

1. Tarbiyyat 2. Islaah

What is the reaction on Ibrahim AS? With submission one will be nurtured and when one obeys the commands of Allah they will be reformed. Allah is giving us the example of the best submission that is of Ibrahim AS. When Allah asked Prophet Ibrahim AS to submit he responded immediately. He replied that he submits to the lord of all the worlds. In Islam the submission is only to the Rabb Al Alameen i.e. Lord of all the worlds. We need to submit to Allah with Tauheed. This means we make Allah as one lord.
