One of the first things you were identified with as a small

child was your name. Your heavenly Father also knows howimportant your identity is – that’s why He made you a newcreation in Him when you received Jesus Christ as your Lord.2 Corinthians 5:l7 God desires for you to see yourself asbeing one with Him – righteous in His eyes and all because ofwhat Jesus Christ did on the Cross. See John 17:20-23

One of the reasons you may have lived with defeat, discour-agement or low self-esteem is because you haven’t totallyseen yourself through God’s eyes. Perhaps you’ve only seenyourself through the mirror of your past, what others havesaid about you, or your own experiences.

Now it’s time to look at yourself through the mirror of God’sWord. Romans l2:2 shows you how to do this. As you spiritu-ally feed yourself daily by reading the Bible, praying, and put-ting your faith in Christ, God will show you clearly who youare as one who trusts and obeys Him. You will begin to seeyourself without the mirror of your past, and the lies you oncebelieved will be replaced by God’s true vision of who you are

now that you are united in Christ.

This booklet is offered to you as a starting place to your free-dom in Christ. As you read through these pages, open yourheart and see for yourself what God has written about you.Confess each promise out loud, mix it with faith, and receivethe revelation that you are who God says you are, and youhave what He says you have. God’s Words are exceedinglymore powerful than the devil’s lies, and you will experienceHis power to transform your life when you agree with whatHe says.

Our prayer for you is that you will live your life “in Christ”,becoming so aware of His love for you and your identity inHim that you will decide to see yourself through His eyesand reflect His glory to others. Choose to take time today toknow and remember who you are in Christ. Allow the HolySpirit to reveal these truths to you, and your life will never bethe same!
