EXPERIENCE IT – BE THE EXPERT

Victor Ngabirano – Co Owner (Africa)Ugandan born, Victor is a Full Partner and East African Director of African Unique Safaris and Tours. He is specialized in tours and travel safaris throughout East African community Countries and The Congo since 2003 and ran Rwanda’s most popular accommodation group 3B hotels for 5 years (think Gorilla Mountain View Lodge)

With 15 years of experience working in the tourism sector in Uganda and Rwanda I have personal travel experience exploring East African National Parks, mountains, forests, villages, towns and contributed a lot to the communities of Volcanoes National Park Rwanda and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. There’s not an industry professional or driver guide in the past 10 years in the region that is not a part of my network.

Sandra Uwamahoro – Reservation Mgr.Sandra is passionate about tourism and her goal is to ensure whoever visits wants to come again or tell a friend.

Enthusiastic, optimistic and passionate about bringing improved prosperity to her home country Rwanda through responsible and sustainable tourism, Sandra has successfully gained a Diploma of Conservation and Environment Management (KCCEM) at Kitabi, Rwanda and is currently working toward her Tourism License from Mount Kenya University.

After completing an internship at Akagera National Park before working in established Safari and Tour companies ,Sandra now joins African Unique Safaris and Tours to enthusiastically and expertly put together your dream safari and tour.

Michael Savage – Co Owner (Australia)Michael is a Founder and Full Partner in African Unique Safaris and Tours.

After fulfilling a lifelong dream to trek for the rare Mountain Gorillas of Rwanda I became so inspired by the people, sites and experiences that I began a search for a local enterprise partner to help fulfil my dream of helping 1000 families in the region become financially self dependant by 2020. It wasn’t long when he met and formed a strong friendship with Victor and the African Unique Safaris & Tours partnership was born.

Michael has lived and worked in several developing regions of the world and knows that all people need to shine is opportunity.

Currently I’m based back in Sydney, but am in constant contact with the Rwanda Team and travel Africa 3 times a year to strengthen partnerships and make new discoveries.

The thing I enjoy most about this business is the joy of seeing people LIVE THEIR DREAMS and knowing that step by step we are contributing to the development of the region, its people and the conservation of its great natural assets.
