WHERE I HAVE WORKED:PRODUCTION ARTISTSFW (Greensboro) • 9/18 – 4/19My most recent job was as a production artist at SFW, a marketing agency in Greensboro. I worked with a team of art directors, graphic designers and account representatives to create print ads, web ads, print pieces and animation for high end clients such as Primo, Channellock, Jerzee’s and Coastal. The atmosphere was high paced, collaborative and heavily focused on positive results for clients. It required a high attention to detail, strong communication with the team and clients and juggling multiple projects at once to meet deadlines.

I served as a graphic designer at Shift Now, production artist at Pace Communications and graphic designers at Mythic. All three were fast paced, professional marketing and advertising agency working with a team of art directors, account representative and artists to create graphic design, layout and web work for clients such as Wal-Mart and car dealerships across the nation. Jobs included magazine advertisements, digital design, magazine layout, print production, logo design and web design.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER AND ILLUSTRATORDuck of All Trades, LLC (Greensboro) • 5/07 – 4/19 Responsible for all aspects of design and business for my own company. My services included graphic design, website design, children’s illustration, book layout and artistic direction as well as creating ad campaigns . In addition to smaller clients, I had several large clients. Most notably, I served 9 years as a graphic designer/web designer/art director for the marketing agency, The Troika Group.

LAYOUT SPECIALISTForest Service Southern Research Station (Asheville) • 5/04 – 5/07Worked with a team to create books, publications, and periodicals. I collaborated directly with scientists to layout their publications, with editors to make corrections, and with printers for pre-press and printing. Also had other duties as a graphic designer and technical illustrator.

I have 17 years working as a professional to produce high-end graphic design, illustrations, website design, book layout, animation and more. I consider myself a strong problem solver, if I don’t have the answer, I’ll find the answer. I love the challenge of finding the right solution. For the past 12 years I have successfully owned and operated my own business, Duck of All Trades, LLC. I have also worked a number of jobs on short term contracts and on an as needed basis. I am looking for a new challenge and to be a part of a team full time.
