The holidays
• The holidays are almost here and that means traveling to be with family and friends
• In case you didn’t know, this year 71% of Americans are planning to travel between Thanksgiving and New Year’s
• That is a 6% jump from last year which means you might needs some travel help
Breaking down the holidays
• We know that the Wednesday before Thanksgiving tends to be the busiest travel day of the year
• Did you know that Nov. 30th is the least traveled day of the year
• The average cost for airfare to a top 10 destination fell 9% from 2014 for Thanksgiving travel
Christmas travel
• If you are planning to travel for Christmas you might want to avoid December 23rd as a majority of people will be traveling that day
• Airfare for top 10 destinations has gone down 4% so now might be
the time to book a flight and car parking at the airport
New Year’s on the go
• If you have plans to travel on December 30th you might want to reconsider as it is the busiest day for New Year’s
• New Year’s Day is a great time to travel because most people are continuing their celebration of the new year
• Don’t be afraid to travel to a busy destination, but you should also be prepared to hit delays
Holiday travel tips
• If you do plan on traveling for the holidays preparation ahead of time is wise

• It is important to remember you will also want to book a parking spot for your car at airport parking locations!
