WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT ABOUT TECHNOLOGIES FROM THE PROCESS OF CONSTRUCTING THIS PRODUCT? The technologies that I have used have benefited me by making the overall layout of my magazine professionalism. Using technologies such as indesign and Photoshop enabled me to enhance my ideas further my ideas actually because doing a draft is different to doing it real. It’s really creative as you can even explore and combine the different steps in an action. You r knowledge and skills will be sharpened with what you will discover. I have tried to look into the steps and ways in creating it. This way, you will know which tool and effect is used to give a good result. After seeing your productivity, you’ll feel like an expert for it will certainly look like the work of an expert. You can amazingly come up with a work with combined techniques, tones and effects. So, even if you are not really that good in photo manipulation, it will seem like you really are with the magical touch of actions. This is what I felt by using Photoshop and it certainly did enhance my skill further because in terms of creativity I really good at it. However using indesign was a bit trouble for me because from my perspective Photoshop enables and makes it easier for me to construct my magazine. In indesign there’s too much editing you need to make which waste your time for e.g. when constructing the content page I found it difficult to place the writings together and create more peace. But at the end I learned properly on how to use it properly and it have a good outcome especially for my double page spread giving the look I want from it. Indesign in terms of handling long passages, multiple pages, subtle manipulation, alternate characters, large sizes, Open-Type fonts, drop caps etc. Such as you have more control over the text and adding. Hence when writing in my double page spread it made easier for me write up neatly. Indesign helped me to expand my skills in developing the style of my writing since it gave the idea of how and what font create certain affects. I would use Indesign in future if I had to layout a book since it saves an hours of time. Furthermore when I was in the studio DSLR camera creates an amazing effect especially for a simple beautiful photo. By shooting in RAW mode the camera captures more detail, and allows for far more flexibility when it comes to editing photos later on. SLR cameras are usually good at taking a sequence of photos of a moving subject; and will be able to keep re-focusing as the subject moves too. YOU Can capture a moment in the photo. The pictures at the end came really good and it gave me the chance to edit it more effectively.

have chosen the blogger; it’s free and offers anyone

the ability to manage their own blog without the

burden of technicalities. It encouraged me to be active

throughout the whole journey. It captures changes in

thinking and motivating on your ideas as well as it

invites people tom collaborate such as it made it more

easy for my audience to give me feedback since its

available to anyone who wants to comment on it. Plus

blogging makes the whole process of constructing the

magazine more formal as i got to feel that I’m the

control of the blogger. Plus it’s cost effective, in

timing and so on. On the other hand before doing

photography i did my extra research on what are the

types of effect in a DSLR camera, learned more the

shutter, exposure, the layering, motions, the ways of

taking the picture etc. So I would say my research

came in handy for me as i was able to demonstrate to

my assistance on how to use it properly and what are

the ways I wanted her to take the pictures. To

conclude I have enjoyed using all the technologies

and it indeed improved my skills such as timing,

creativity and I did also learned some new skills such

as being more careful when editing the images and

colour skills.

I wasn’t shooting since I was the model; my assistant loved

it when she was taking pictures of me. Because it gave her

less stress and she said that now she feels like a good

photographer. From her experience it increased her

photography skills but it was new skills for her learn. In

addition when doing my pitch presentation I decided that

prezi is a better technology. This is because Prezi’s unique

slick “zooming” function offers an increasingly popular

alternative to the traditional PowerPoint presentations.

Prezi is an online, Flash-based presentation creator who

shares similar functionalities with other information

presentation programmes such as Microsoft PowerPoint

and Apple Keynotes. It is a visual learning tool which

allows you to create maps of texts, images, videos,

graphics etc. Creates stunning visual impact. Import

pictures, maps and PDFs and use them as a canvas. With

the cinematic experience of the zooming function, I felt like

I’m transported into a “world” that I have designed myself.

With prezi it increases your creativity and thinking.

Therefore I believe prezi has made my creative skills boost

further. Unfortunately its only limited in using more tools

and options you have spent money on it. However prezi

enabled me to express my creativity and stretched my

thinking outside the box. Before starting our work we uses

time toast to outline what we are going to do and time toast

is where you can keep up to date what you need to do.

Time toast is a great technology to keep track of your work;

it creates a timeline event for you. As a result by using time

toast has improved my time management but however due

to the pressure of work I don’t really open my account

every day and therefore because of the time rush it created

a little bit problem for me because in my content page and

double page spread I have forgotten to put the dates in. But

right after that day I started to use time toast again which

gave me a better result of my time. So therefore time toast

for me improved my time management.
