MATERIAL WORLD

Material World is a new project to help pupils learn more about textiles, leather and fashion companies in Scotland, the different products they make, the skills they use and the different types of jobs available.

This is a pilot project so we look forward to hearing how you find it, and this will help us to improve the Material World resource.

You will learn about Trakke Ltd., a young company based in Partick in Glasgow who make bags for the everyday adventurer.

The project will also help you to understand better what the words circular economy and sustainability can mean in textiles and fashion.
