CHANGING STATEMENTS INTO WH – QUESTIONS WITH BE – VERBS

1. Consider the kind of wh – word given. (i.e. where)2. Apply the rule in changing statements to

question.Example: They are here > Are they here?

3. Remove the word or phrases that answer the questions.

Example: Are they here? > Are they here?4. Combined the wh – word and the information left in the sentence.

Example: Where are they?
