Lauren Beleut won the bikini contest held at Billy Joe’s Res-taurant in Newburgh, NY the weekend that we had the “Wet And Wild Jet Ski Races”. Profes-sionally run by Lex Filiposwki and Alex Salomtaff of Alex Marine Service Plus, the three hours of timed races around a closed course went off without a hitch. Billy Joe’s Restaurant deck was packed with diners with a 45 minute wait at the door for tables.

This was the second event held this year adjacent to Riverfront Marina and by far the best yet. All the racers had a great time, were enthusastic and vowed to come back again in 2013.

The winners were: First place - Steve Kaik Second place - Liem Filipowski
