Dear Afurakan

RE: WESTONARIA COMMUNITY

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to you for your continuous support of Library Information Service, Westonaria.

Your commitment and dedication not only to the vulnerable and needy of Westonaria, but communities as a whole, is evident in the passion you demonstrate through your work.

We are indeed grateful for your participation and value your contribution to the overall success of our campaigns eg. Youth Month commemoration hosted at Westonaria Main Library and the generous sponsorship of books for libraries and schools within our municipal borders.

As Programme Librarian I also want to express my gratitude for exposing our local children to the Word&Sound platform, thereby developing their creative skills and critical thinking.

The programme hosted on 10 July 2013 at the Simunye Community Library in collaboration with Split this Rock, building bridges between youth from the USA and South Africa connecting our common history to the future and helping emerging leaders in solution-seeking through dialogue was also very insightful and highly appreciated by youth from Simunye, Bekkersdal and Westonaria.

With much respect and gratitude.
