We are pleased to announce program highlights for Winter-Spring 2018 on Western Reserve PBS. The upcoming season offers an array of terrific content in all the genres that PBS does best—drama, science, arts and documentary programs. While air dates are yet to be announced, here is what you can look forward to in early 2018: January MASTERPIECE, VICTORIA, SEASON 2: Jenna Coleman returns for a new season as the young queen who wants it all—romance, power, an heir and personal freedom. Season 2 of the hit drama has seven episodes. AMERICAN EXPERIENCE, INTO THE AMAZON: Tells the remarkable story of the 1914 journey taken by President Theodore Roosevelt and legendary Brazilian explorer Candido Mariano da Silva Rondon. NOVA, BLACK HOLE APOCALYPSE: Join astrophysicist Janna Levin on a mind-bending journey to the froners of black hole research. TONY BENNETT: THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS GERSHWIN PRIZE FOR POPULAR SONG: This tribute to Tony Benne features Chris Bo, Michael Bublé, Michael Feinstein and more. WE’LL MEET AGAIN: This new six-part series, execuve produced and reported by Ann Curry, features dramac reunions between people separated by real-life events. February INDEPENDENT LENS, I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO: An Academy Award nominee, the film focuses on the lives and successive assassinaons of Medgar Evers, Malcolm X and Marn Luther King, Jr. March CALL THE MIDWIFE, SEASON 7: The moving, inmate, funny and true-to-life series tells colorful stories of midwifery and families in London’s East End. April MASTERPIECE, THE CHILD IN TIME: Adapted from Ian McEwan’s novel, this 90-minute drama is a lyrical and heartbreaking exploraon of love, loss and the power of things unseen. May MASTERPIECE, LITTLE WOMEN: This consummate coming-of-age story, set against the backdrop of the Civil War, follows sisters Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March. In addion to offering these programs, we are working on acquiring the following: • VERMEER BEYOND TIME: Focuses on the work and family life of arst Johannes Vermeer, one of the most loved, treasured and well-known arsts in the world today. • A new adaptaon of the mystery series MAIGRET, starring Rowen Atkinson in a serious portrayal of the French detecve. • New episodes of MIDSOMER MURDERS and 800 WORDS.

DixisvicepresidentofDix1898,aradioanddigitalmediacompanythatownsMockWoodworking.HeisretiredaspublisherofRecordPublishing,LLC,after49years.

Mr.Dixisinvolvedinhiscommunity,currentlyservingascampaignchairman

ofPortageCountyUnitedWay;amemberoftheboardofdirectorsandpresidentemeritusofLeadershipPortageCounty;amemberandformerpresidentofKentRotary;anddirectorof

theboardforAmericanCollegeFoundation,whichworkswithAmericanCollegeinMadurai,India.

HispastappointmentsincludeboardpositionsatUHPortageandtheformerRobinsonMemorialHospitalfrom1994-2016;presidentoftheOhioNewspaperAssociationfrom2012-2014;andtrusteeofKentStateUniversityfrom1976-1985.
