Residence Hall Meal PlansStudents have access to any of the three dining centers open continuously from early morning to late at night. Two meal plans include a beginning balance of Dining Dollars that can be used in the campus cafés located within campus buildings or to purchase guest meals in the dining centers. There are three residence hall meal plans from which to choose.

Apartment Meal OptionsDining Services offers flexible meal plan choices for students not living in the residence halls. Apartment residents often choose to add Dining Dollars to their account or purchase a set number of meals each semester to take advantage of all the great dining choices on campus.

Residence HallsMost new students choose the convenience and

support of living in the residence halls while

making the transition to university life. Living in

the halls is the best way to get the total campus

experience, and it offers new students the

opportunity to make friendships that will last a

lifetime. Plus, an outstanding team of experienced

Student success is central to the mission of Residence Life. In fact, national and

WMU research shows that students who live on campus are likely to have better

grades, be involved on campus, be more satisfied with their college experience,

and are more likely to graduate than students living off campus.

Residence Life is about choices and opportunities to tailor your WMU experience. Housing options range from traditional residence halls to fully equipped apartments. There are also residential learning communities, a variety of amenities, different locations, and a mixture of room and apartment sizes so students can pick what best meets their interests and needs. From staff dedicated to assist with the college experience to intentional structured environments for social and academic success, there is no better way for students to experience

WMU than living on campus.
