Year 5 Information Evening

Next Week - Lorton Meadows Field Trip

Every child will need to wear warm, old clothes, waterproof jacket and wellies. They will need a disposable packed lunch and drink. We will be back by the normal end of school.

Welcome Service for Year 5

St Mary’s Church, Edward Road Tuesday 22nd September at 1.30pm

A special service to celebrate the arrival of our new Year 5 pupils. Please join us.

Open Mornings 9.00am-12.05pm

Monday 5th October (parents of girls)

Wednesday 7th October (parents of boys)

This is an opportunity to join your child in their lessons and experience school as your child experiences it.

The pupils then start a 9 week project which could involve producing: key racks and racing cars; felt soft toys; sandwiches, salads and biscuits.

Year 5 continue to study French focusing on learning through exposure to authentic songs, stories, poems and games, intended to nurture their second language learning skills.

PEThese sessions include: gym, dance, orienteering and athletics.
